Thanks very much for the watch!
Your gallery is great. I am especially fascinated by your encaustic crow series, as it is something I would like to try. Great stuff!

Wonderful work! I especially love your encaustic portraits. The solid black lines in these are excellent. If you don't mind sharing I'd love to know how you are creating these black lines. I've been using relief prints on tissue paper but they have a diff. look.

Thanks
Shaun

LOL. Yeah, the process is one of the things that attracted me to encaustcs. I was a printmaker for a while but I could find reasonable priced studios to do litho or etching.

Actually had never even heard of it before! What a great technique, I really appreciate art that involves a certain process.

Thank you so much.

What would you like to know about encaustics?

I can tell you the basics. I work with molten pigmented wax and resin. That is the bases of all encaustics. It's a very ancient technique which dates back to around 6th century BC.

Thank you so much. It's wonderful to hear any comments, but, of course, positive ones are the best.

And also thank you for friending me.

I never have tried encaustic, but I've always wanted to do it. Looking at a few of your works, I think Lara Revisited is my favourite of the bunch. You really have that movement of line down with that piece, and the colours gently mingle with one another.

I guess I can say anythign I want here because I don't think anyone ever visits my site. But that is because I don't belong to any groups and I don't really know how to. No matter. I think I will just keep feeling sorry for myself

Nobody said hello? Damm! I just hate when that happens.

So, to be formal :)
